Consumer Reports still not recommending iPhone 4

A couple days after saying that the free case program for the iPhone 4 would be coming to an end, word from Consumer Reports is that they're still not recommending the iPhone 4.

It seems as though Consumer Reports feels like the antenna issue with the iPhone 4 and Apple still hasn't come up with a good enough fix to change their minds.  It also appears that Apple has pulled the plug on the amount of choices that users can get for cases and now are only given a few options instead of the seven original options, as well as third-party options.

“Putting the onus on any owners of a product to obtain a remedy to a design flaw is not acceptable to us. We therefore continue not to recommend the iPhone 4, and to call on Apple to provide a permanent fix for the phone’s reception issues,” it said on Consumer Reports Web site.
