Clearwire Enters the Prepaid Market

Clearwire today announced the first 4G pay-as-you-go mobile broadband service in the U.S.  Clearwire is pairing up with Rover to get this service rolling.  Initially it will work in all 49 of Clearwire markets and will be sold at all CLEAR retail locations and Best Buys.  This service will come in two forms; "Puck" and "Stick".  The Puck form looks exactly like a hockey puck and will allow up to eight connections, whereas the stick is a USB modem and it will be used for single person use.  Prices will range from $5/day to $50/month for unlimited 4G coverage.

Head on over to Clearwire's website to check out the press release and more details about Clearwire and Rovers new product.
