Just read the Press Release from Sprint and Samsung announcing the Samsung Galaxy Tab and it looks like the Tab is very close to being officially launched. The stunner here is that the Tab will not be able to work on Sprint's 4G network. This is going to take a large chunk of potential customers away from Sprint. There 4G network (The only active 4G network in the U.S.) is what gives them the advantage when it comes to the mobile broadband market. So without that feature expect to see more users head over to Verizon or AT&T for their purchase of the Tab.
Not sure if Samsung refused to make one specifically for Sprint, as opposed to one piece of hardware that can be shared between CDMA networks (Sprint and Verizon).
Head on over to Sprints website to read the official press release for more information.
