It looks like Verizon will be officially announcing the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Tab on Thursday. Dont get too excited, Verizon will be announcing the launch date on Thursday not announcing that it will be launching on Thursday.
Engadget was able to get an exclusive internal screenshot compliments of a Verizon Wireless employee of the details on the Tab.

I know that's not a lot of detail, but usually when this information hits VZWeb (Verizon's internal system) that means it is only a few weeks out......trust me I know. Prices and availability most likely to be announced Thursday!
